Amy Moya Nutrition is a true healing approach to nutrition support. I aim to approach each client from a holistic and functional perspective, believing that chronic conditions and weight loss struggles do not appear overnight.
One component of nutritional counseling is to provide you with the knowledge you need to create tasty and wholesome meals for yourself and your family. Another component is to help you understand why certain foods are important and how they work in your body. I will provide you with in-depth, customized education tailored to your special conditions and individuality.
Making big changes can be hard. You don't have to do it alone. I'll also provide you with day-to-day support. I do not believe in a “cracking the whip approach.” I believe support, encouragement, self-love, and self-care are essential. Think of it as essential as any other vitamin: Vitamin Love!
Throughout my life I have had an ability to connect with people and help them feel heard, safe and able to open up. Our food and eating habits can be very personal and having someone you can trust is essential to making change.
I'm a certified Nutrition Consultant and have a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley. I enjoy being a mother to my baby girl, cooking nutritious meals for my family, reading (nutrition education and fun book club novels!), and volunteering with Hospice.
Make this commitment to yourself and start this healing journey. Seize the opportunity to put yourself first and make the changes you've always wanted to heal, lose weight and live a long, quality life. You deserve this!
